Indeed, so much blood! And guts! And gore!...And more blood! And pet rape...
By the way, I went back and put the Jewel of Life links back in.

Nicely done! You missed some links, but I can't complain. You did a lot of freaking work. Guess now I gotta work on my epic battle.

So Specter, does the chunk of text your character says actually translate to anything? Guessing not, but still. And I've been wondering about something lately. A new RP primarily featuring a zombie apocalypse-ish scenario in a world of our own creation or the Netherworld where our characters species exist. Our characters themselves however, are the same strength or slightly stronger than other members of their species. Might not go too well, they're inevitably gonna fight NPCs who's brains have snapped, but I'm curious to see how they'd survive. ... *Sighs* Oh alright. I was intrigued by Highschool of the dead in a JB HI-FI catalogue. (From what I've seen, the manga is NOT hentai. The complete monster, A god am I, arrogant a-holes cult doesn't count. If I haven't made it clear enough, the guy's a TITANIC. FUCKING. DOUCHEBAG. *Deep breath* I could rant about this fucktard and his slutty cult for fucking hours.[/berserk rant]) First chapter'd give me nightmares if I had 'em, but for the most part, it's pretty good. Don't look at me like that, I said for the MOST PART. So, do ya think it could work? I know there was something similar on the MFF a few years ago, but that was set with us as... well, ourselves. It doesn't count.

Actually it does translate to something, although I probably cant remember the exact wording I'll probably post the general idea in his bio sometime. I think I know the RP your referring.(Though there were two of them that were zombie related, I'll mention the other.) It was in a spam topic If I recall correctly. My character was set up in a small self-made base in North Carolina with his ferret, and yours was travelling with his sister. I believe the goal was to make it to some other part of the country to get to a boat transporting survivors out of the country before a deadline(Nuke storm.). There was also one were we were around a haunted house fighting loads of zombies, with my character being one, but fond of cannibalizing on his own kind. Yours was weilding a greatsword, but neither of our characters were as powerful as the ones in our main RPs by the looks of it. midnafanforum.com/index.php?topic=22313.150 I think it sounds like it'd be fun! Fighting tons of zombies and the occasional deadly psychopath reminds me of Dead Rising. I'd like to see how our characters would react in the apocalypse if they werent, well... "unkillable" is a pretty good word for it. ;D

And a few survivors, can't forget them.
... I forgot about the second one (And I probably should've asked my sisters permission before using her.) I assumed it was set in America, so it'd be plausible for her to be there. Lucky girls school got to go on "space camp" for the holidays one year. And Alcatraz.
I think I'd like the idea of a dead rising set in an area complete with suburbs, streets and a city. That'd be interesting.
Anyway, who should start it off?

I dunno how it'd work for my guy, unless I completely change his backstory (and species, heh heh). Sounds like it'd work in an alternate universe setting.

I'm up for starting it if you guys dont feel like it. But I'm fine either way. And Tai, you could just make another character with the same name/personality. (I actually did that alot back at the MFF, though the personality at a much, much lesser extent..) I like the Idea as well, SS. Though I was planning to have my guy start off in a rural area.(Hes a farmer, could be classified as a pissed off redneck.) I was thinking we could have numerous spots of the U.S.A at our disposal. No fun if we only get one type of enviroment to explore. Perhaps the race for survival could be a cross-country trek? Or maybe just travelling up a coast to a city with boats/planes departing from the mainland?

Okay, but I was thinking we set it up in an area where multiple sentient species exist. Kinda like the netherworld, but with more types, including humans. Gonna inevitably have to find survivors, weapons and supplies (Even my character ain't game enough to fight an army of undead what's bite can both kill and turn the victim with only his fangs and claws)

Sounds good, should help with the species issues.
I might keep my character a human though.

Excellent. Now, the only problem is something to call it that doesn't sound incredibly cliche'.

Well lets see, Its zombie themed, there are multiple sentient races, the country is ravaged by the apocalypse, characters gotta make it out of the country before it's nuked while rounding up supplies and survivors...
...Hmmm....

Yeah in this I'd make my guy a normal human with no special powers or futuristic weapons. Also we'd need a story on HOW the zombies show up.
